The Early Help and Intervention Service at Bedford Borough Council have been in existence as a team for just over a year. They approached us to help them create a report documenting their successes in a more visually interesting way than the standard style of reporting.
We needed to create something that grabbed the attention of the reader and that reflected the huge impact the team have had on the 0-19 year olds and their families in the borough. We also had to consider the sensitive nature of the content of the report and how we could display this in a positive way.
In order to make the report much more visually appealing we used a mixture of straight columns of text with illustrative infographics, bold imagery and pull out information. The report was broken down into sections and we kept the hierarchy of information the same to help the reader navigate the content.
We successfully delivered a report that didn’t feel like a report! Working closely with The Early Help and Intervention Service team, we were able to highlight the areas of work they were proud of and bring to life the impressive work they have delivered to date.
“I have received the copies of the report. They look amazing. Thanks for producing such a great piece of work in such a short space of time.”
